LEGO Creationary Game System. Roll the LEGO Dice to select one of four exciting building categories: vehicles, buildings, nature or things. With three levels of difficulty you can show off your building skills, while the others guess what you are creating. A great game for family and friends to test your imagination, creativity, building and guessing skills to the max. To be able to understand why LEGO has been successful for so long, just look to the name. LEGO originally got its name from founder Ole Kirk Christiansen by combining the Danish words Leg Got that means play well and later realized that the word LEGO in Latin translates to I put together. The LEGO set became a standard of creative play for children around the world, unlocking the creativity to build vehicles, buildings, cities and more. Most historians point to the invention of the wheel as a major turning point in world history. The invention of the LEGO wheel had the same monumental effect in the history of LEGO, making it possible to create cars, trucks and eventually the LEGO train building set that is one of the most successful LEGO sets of all time. LEGO innovation continues to this day with product lines like DUPLO that was created in 1969 for smaller hands and still thrives. Movie tie-ins, such as LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones Adventures and LEGO SpongeBob are some of the most popular sets. The Sci-Fi LEGO Bionicle sets have a huge following but the number one selling LEGO set of all time is The LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Invention System. Over 1 million of these sets were sold around the world. In 2009 LEGO introduces the next generation LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0! LEGO currently produces about 20 billion LEGO bricks a year and has sold over 400 billion LEGOs in their history -- enough for every person on the planet to have over 60 LEGOs each!

User Review: I can't speak for older kids, as I don't have any, but this game needs to be redesigned for the younger side of the age recommendation on the box! I wouldn't buy it for anyone the way it is.[...]

i purchased this for my son for his 8th birthday and while some of the things can be difficult for my 8 and 5 year olds to build it encourages them to try their best and use their imagination.

Awesome!
"...I also expected it to show like a 3-4 step process to build the item but no, it was just a 'real life' type picture you have to figure out how to make. My 4 year old built a police car and we knew what it was right away.
They have been playing with this sized Lego for over a year so they have the nimbleness required.
There aren't alot of pieces...... See more

Pretty fun
"...I also think if there are more than 3 players the others get bored because it takes a while to build each item. We do play it fairly often and will keep it because it is pretty fun, but it's not our favorite.
We like Lego Harry Potter a lot better.

Lego can do better w the storing of this
"...
While the game is clever, when it's time to put the game away - I wish lego would of had a cover for the tray.
Because after spending all that time sorting all the colors, when your done playing the game you have to put all the pieces back in the bag so you don't lose any.... See more

Fun but a little tough - It's a little expensive for what you get and I have no idea how you would build half of the items on the cards but my kids (6, 10, 11) like it and we've had fun together playing it.
Understandably on the difficult side for the 6 y/o but great for the other two.... See more

Good concept POOR design
"...As people have previously said, this game is a great concept but nearly impossible for 7 year olds to build 3/4 of the items shown.
A great suggestion is to show pictures on the cards of things built from the legos.
I'm 41 and having great difficulty building any of the items.... See more

Too bad...
"...It's really too bad that this game was so poorly executed, because the concept of the game is such a cool idea. We bought this for our two sons for Christmas.
We love legos, and upon reading other reviews I thought this would be a great way for all of us to play a lego game together as a family - but the game was a big disappointment.
Probably the worst feature of this game are the illustrations on the game cards.... See more
