The NETGEAR 18 dBi Patch Panel Directional Antenna works with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless access point or wireless router in 2.4 GHz frequency range. It delivers extended access point range in a single floor environment ideally positioned in the corner of a building. The antenna functions point-to-point such that you can wirelessly connect LANs between the buildings in a campus-type environment. It provides multi-floor transmission when placed on a ceiling, as the high power output extends the range through typical flooring materials. The antenna aesthetically blends with the environment up to a range of 9.8 miles.
