My First Mac
"...I use it on WiFi networks, travel, at home.
(I suggest getting the 17inch display instead unless you dock it to a 27inch Apple display like I do for home use.) If you can spend the cash a 15 inch MacBook Pro maxed out and a 27 inch display only cost about $900 more than the iMac and you sarafice one less gig graphics card but get a mobile computer along with the nice display.

My Wife Wanted a FAST Computer

My wife wanted a new, fast computer as hers was a 7+ yr old Dell running XP Pro, which grinds to a halt when doing a lot of concurrent activities, especially when one of those is Flash games on Facebook.
I already have a MacBook Pro (13") and figured now is the time to convert her over (note that I have Virtualized her O/S using VMWare Converter in case she ever wants to access her old stuff - notably PrintMaster).... See more
