The IC485S RS-232 to RS-422/RS-485 Interface Converter from Aten Technology is a bidirectional converter that converts RS-232 signals to RS-485 signals (and vice-versa). Data transfer can take place at up to 4000 ft, over four or two wire cable for full or half duplex, respectively. Request to send (RTS) selection allows up to 32 receivers to be set up in a multi-drop installation.
