The Black Diamond Swift Ski Boot are womens backcountry ski boots with a unique pivoting cuff technology and a light weight that caters to the fast and light crowd. Designed with technical mountains in mind, the Swift can take you from mellow skin tracks to all-out ski mountaineering. Very light, at only 1.52 kg per boot. Triax Pivot Frame delivers a Flex 100 rating and its patent-pending Pivoting Cuff Technology allows for an unrivaled 40-degree range of motion in walk mode. In traditional alpine touring boot designs, the cuff edge and middle buckles limit the forward range of motion in walk mode; Black Diamond's Pivoting Cuff moves up and out of the way to allow the boot to flex farther forward than conventionally possible. Shell is built using alpine overlap construction, which allows for a natural progressive flex and ankle articulation for the ultimate downhill performance. Women's specific Efficient Fit AT Light Liner uses proprietary, engineered foam for minimal compaction and a long-lasting performance fit, and is thermoformable by your local ski shop. Anti-microbial liner treatment fights bacteria build-up. Performance footbed and multi-density internal Achilles pad insert. Lightweight Boa lacing system is ultra secure, and adjusts with the turn of a dial. 3.5 buckle design keeps this boot light, and provides 4-buckle stiffness and control through a Y-strap. Ski/walk mode lever flips to give you 40 degrees of resistance-free motion. Rockered rubber outsole with integrated tech inserts provides dramatic grip and durability.
