"I purchased a 3202 Titanium Seal Luminox watch ($600) from Cabelas and after (4) months the band broke. I found out the band is not covered by warranty and the factory would offer any help. The part was backordered which helped to verified the part was defective and of poor design. Repair was $92.00 and I did not want to spend any further funds on a defective watch. Cabela's took the watch back and gave me a full refund. No questions asked."

"I have done quiet a bit of shopping at Cabela's Online. They have great products and great return policies. I ordered a blind not to long ago,which I thought it would be tight and it was for a 220 lb. man. They sent a return sticker and instructions on how to return it. You don't have to be afraid to order Online from these folks."

"I puchased a $200 pair of danner boots and 5 months later my feet were getting wet even though they had Gore Tex. I called Cabela's and told them my problem and was told they had a very liberal retun policy. I took them back and got a full refund. No questions asked. I bought a pair of Merrell hickers and am very happy."

"I bought an item and returned it back to cabelas without opening or using because I changed my mind on the order. I paid for the shipping to me as well as return shipping. When I went to place another order through Cabelas, I was told they could not place anymore orders for me online because of my previous return. To me, I was the only one this transaction cost money to. I paid for the shipping both ways with no problem. Cabelas felt because of this return it was reason to reject future business. I would never buy another item from Cabelas again. This must be a new policy. I have purchased many items from them over the last 5 years with no problems. I guess times have changed as well as the people running the company.Good luck if you decide to order through them. Dont expect them to stand behind their products"

"Ordered a boat motor from Cabela's online catalog. Shipping was free, even to Alaska; no strings, no exceptions. It arrived within 5 days and in perfect shape. Will definitely order from them again."
