What A Great Compressor
"...I couldnt be happier with this unit. for the price it cant be beat.
i also run mobil 1 oil and installed a six inch high speed fan to cool the compressor head.
this allows me to run the unit for continuous duty, without any issues.... See more by ancjr, Jul 21, 2012
The heart of my shop
"...In the year that I bought this, I've upgraded a few things that I feel makes this a much more usable machine.
Firstly, I replaced the stock air cleaner with 1/2" pipe leading to a 3/4" coupler and 3/4" Solberg filter, which gave me some efficiency gain and made it a bit quieter.
Recently, I converted the outlet to 3ft coil of 1/2" ID copper with forged 5/8" flare fitting and 1/2" check valve.... See more by Dale the Tech., Mar 23, 2010

This is a great compressor for the money
"...You do have to purchase extras, ( adaptor, regulator, filter, ball valve and hose). This unit is in my basement and I can barely hear it running when I'm standing directly above it.
I have used this with a large variety of air tools including die grinders and this unit keeps up with ease.
I've been a mechainic for over 25 years and though I've only had this a short time, I can tell it's a well built machine.... See more by Brad, Mar 10, 2011
I have had the previous model for a few years now and it is GREAT!!!
Installation is pretty straight foreward, if you have a little knowledge of electric.... See more by jwill555, Mar 15, 2011
its good for a shop with 240 not off a generator
" a regulator,ball valve (shut off),reducer to 1/4 from 3/4,hose,thread tape,filter & a 10 gauge 25' cord to hook it to a 240/240 circuit. I was sold this tank with a troy bilt 6200/9725 generator to run it.
Sorry to say the air compressor will not start up when it reaches its cut in point try refill.
You have to be there to let the tank drain to about 60 lbs then it will run and quickly fill to 135 lbs.... See more by Jonnyboy, Apr 7, 2011
Great for the money!
"...It can handle anything I throw at it. It pumps up quickly, and handles the presure very well.
I had to purchase the regulator, and other items to make it functional for use, but for 700.00 I have a long lasting air system that will give me all I need to run impact equipment.
I love it!... See more by front fender, Jan 11, 2009
OK after set up
"...Dave from Oviedo is correct.
You need to have someone available who has reasonable experience with compressor set up.
The set up manual provided is more than a little poor.... See more by broll, Jan 12, 2010
pump and motor problems
I bought this compressor for a farm/home shop.
I noticed from the start that the pump used some oil, at first I thought that maybe the rings needed to set in.... See more by Tom, Sep 4, 2011
A Trouble Free Year
"...I rated the features as less than excellent because of the toy drain valve, I piped in a ball valve.
After breaking in as per manufactures recommendations, I used synthetic compressor oil immediately.
The wiring problems that some are having, leads one to wonder if they should be wiring the unit.... See more by Braden, Nov 9, 2009
