Love the taste of the coffee and the ease of use once you get it set so it does not use a ton of beans.
There should be a setting to control the bean amount per pot, the closest we have found is to set the cup setting to 6 which is still a bit much but 4 cup setting is not enough.... See more

I would buy this product again
"...Makes very good coffee, easy to use.
Would recommend this product, there are only two negatives, neither would prevent me from buying again, the grinder is loud and the coffee does not stay hot in the carafe, other than that I am pleased with every other aspect of the coffee maker.

Not as good as I had hoped for

Although the grinder works very efficiently it comes up short for those who prefer stronger coffee.
The only option for those who prefer a strong brew is to set the grind control to 10 cup max and then only put in 8 cups of water and even doing this does not get the result I prefer.... See more

Excellent coffe maker but a few lessons

Set for 10 cups with water for 8 cups on the darkest aromatic setting gives very good coffee.
Pre heat caraf with hot water, use fitered water, use unbleached pater filters, and after a power outage make sure to reset your preferences as they deafault on power up.... See more

One of the worst models
"...First two were great. This one is the worst machine I've ever owned- - the coffee is cold -it needs to be microwaved right after brewing- the hot water does not spread properly over the grinds.
I've noticed dry grinds in the coffee filter after brewing is done- coffee leaks out from the drip mechanism onto the sides and the counter- the programming chip may have a bug - if you set it up to brew only it may grind and brew!
Adding more coffee to the coffee already in the filter I returned one and the second one has same problems this is going back too.... See more
