User Review: Can't argue at all. This is perfect for all Hp DV6305US Pavillion owners. I bought new RAM for it because to old trash in it was 512 of PC2-5300 supplied by HP. This RAM is perfect.

"...Pros: Upgraded from 1gig of ram on my Dell Inspiron E1505. Running XP, but needed the extra ram for my photo and web design work.
Works great, PC boots faster, programs open quickly, and very easy to install. You don't get the 667mhz speed on this laptop, but you can't beat it for the price!... See more

"...I had thought that it was slow due to it being a "craptop" computer. Turns out that Vista was choking on only 1gb RAM.
Now with 2gb it still is not my homebuilt desktop but running apps is much smoother including boot/shutdown times. Cons: Doesn't make toast.... See more

"...Other Thoughts: installed in my Acer Aspire 5315 laptop, probably the fastest/easiest memory swap i've done in my entire life....it literally took all of 5 minutes, including removing the battery, loosening the 4 screws that hold the memory/processor cover on, pulling the old memory out, placing the new sticks in, replacing the cover, replacing the battery, and turning it on. haven't tried WoW on this system yet (although it rain, it sucked with only 1GB, since the video adapter used the minimum of system memory), but the "System Information" section of WinXP shows that it is now using the maximum of 384MB of system RAM for video memory, so i can only assume it will be greatly improved.
still not like it runs on my home desktop, but if it can gain me 10 - 20 FPS, it should actually be playable on this laptop now, with mostly low settings. ... See more |
