"Just another bait and switch operation on the internet, luring you into a purchase with a great price and then not selling to you without purchasing overpriced accessories! The only thing they did is cancel my order upon my request, after being vague about, if I ever will receive a D700 at the advertised price within the next few years from them."

"Last week I placed an order with Grand Central Photo, I have ordered from a catalog before but never online. I told GCP this when i called to order and the experience was quite pleasant. The service was good and i just couldnt pass up on the price. I will probably come back to this copmpany to purchase lenses and accessories form them in the future."

"This site uses the "bait and switch". They advertise the cheapest price and then when you order they don't process it until you call them. Then, they switch you to a cheaper version of what you order and refuse to refund or allow you to send the false product back. They are fraudulent in the manner they function. They stuck me with a lens that was a lot dollars cheaper and refused to do anything about it. They delayed sending it so Mastercard paid them two weeks before I received the false product. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!"

"Orginally order my PentaxK-X camera on December 18th. I was told they oversold and they would be in 2-3 weeks later. After many long calls on hold and they have tried to up sell me on the Pro model- which I declined.Today march 3rd was my last phone call and they now have no idea if they are going to get this camera in.Now if you like to be put on hold for an average of 20 minutes and want the royal runaround this company is for you!"

"Bait and change without permission! Ordered a Canon 70-200 2.8L IS II USM for 1715,-. One day later the call with the offer of an "upgrade" to a Sigma for 1730,- which has an official Sigma price of 1200,- Denied the offer and insisted on the lens I ordered. After promising delivery in 7 Days but then it took three weeks I got the sigma lens. They told me I used the offer which I didn't. Then tried to tell me the Canon lens is manual focus (funny try...) On the way to get the lens or the money back. "

"This guy charge you before shipment. Ordered a Canon LCOS projector that is ober $5000. Website show INSTOCK. Visa charge right away, and do not get tracking information after one week of charged. Say 7-10 business day on website, was told up to 18 days withing US when phoned in. Website say check status on web but no such function available."

"Do not buy from. They switched product to lower priced item and basically sent me a lens that was valued at half of what they charged me. They priovided no documentation of what was being sent which made arguing bill with credit card company difficult. This is a fraudulent, irreputable company that should not be allowed to contiunue doing business. "
