Dodge's full-size passenger and cargo vans return for 2008 with little change. The Sprinter is offered in several variations, including 144-inch or 170-inch wheelbase models, regular or extended vehicle lengths, and three ceiling heights: Standard (65 inches), High (76 inches) and Mega (84 inches). Dodge also offers two engine options to power the Sprinter, the 154-hp 3.0L V6 diesel engine or the 3.5L V6 gas engine, which produces 254 horsepower. Both are matted to a five-speed automatic transmission. New features include standard 12-passenger seating including new emergency exit window, standard four-seat rear bench for cargo vans, electronic sliding door for both cargo and passenger vans, and front swivel bucket seats for all models.
