Great crema, great milk foaming- this will get the job done. There is no automatic cutoff for espresso making, so you have to watch how much water you pump through. For continuous use it will require 30 seconds time out after the first few cups to get back up to temp. As a test I used the steamer to heat a cup of chilled cider- this took three cycles as I ran out of steam and recharged. So the steamer doesn't have a lot of excess capacity. All told, this is a good choice for your money for a personal espresso maker.
