Description
The 2009 Ford Mustang is offered in five trims and two bodystyles: Deluxe, Premium, Deluxe GT, Premium GT, and Shelby GT500 in either coupe or convertible bodystyles. The Deluxe and Premium models are powered by a 4.0L V6 engine while the Deluxe GT and Premium GT are equipped with a 300 horsepower 4.6L V8 engine. Both engines are mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission. The Shelby GT500 is powered by a 500-horsepower supercharged 5.4L V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Shelby GT500 is also equipped with a SVT-tuned suspension system and four piston Brembo brakes. Standard features on all models include powered windows, door locks, CD player, and keyless entry.
