When you add the chart pack, realize that you will only get one section of the country and not the whole country as with the metro (street) map pack.
I bought it primarily for my boat and the chart plotting and it works excellant if not amazing.... See more

Great for hiking
"...I love this thing. I use it for geocaching and its great.
The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that you have to buy the mapping software separately in order to have routing directions, it does have a basemap of the US which gives major highways but without the mapping software you can't get street by street directions.
Unfortunately you can only unlock the software on one GPS, then you have to buy another CD Key if you have another GPS that you need mapping information on.... See more
