An excellent product and great value
Review From: Tim, Dec 22, 2006
I purchased the Garmin 320, after trying out my wife's Garmin 340 that I got her for christmas. There is very little difference between the two units and a price difference of $150+. The only thing between the 320 & 340 is it says " Turn on Main St." and my 320 says turn in .2 miles and then "turn right." I also had to load and update the software, but it took 20 minutes and easy as can be. My 320 does the very same as my wife's 340 on everything else. If I would have known then that the C320 is basically a 340, except spoken street names and I had to do an easy download of 3 states I drive in, I would have picked her up the 320. She loves her C340, but said she'd have been just as happy with the C320, since it's the same unit. Again, downloading up to 4 states is a piece of cake.

If I want to ad more, I get a memory card on sale ( like the ones they use in cameras) and I can add all 50. I don't drive all 50, so I probably won't. 3-4 states is fine and that's what the memory card that it comes with holds. I think the C320 is the best deal on the market. It's even more accurate than my friends high end car's GPS. I give it a 10+. I would have paid twice as much for all the great features. I can find any business, restaurant, park or shopping, anything at the touch of a button. It's easy to read day or night with no glare problems at all. Again, I have both units and if you can live without the spoken street names and want to save almost enough to buy two, then get yourself the C320!

Great easy-to-use GPS system.
Review From: D. Fisher, Nov 21, 2007
I'm not great on technical instruments, but find the Garmin 330 very easy to use. I love having my Garmin partner in the car when I am going to a new address or encounter detours. Every woman should have one!!

Great Unit, Best Deal
Review From: David R, Mar 28, 2007
I too love my Garmin C320. My 12 yr daughter even named it "Carmen", its like a family friend. I travel nationally and its wonderful to pop it into a rental car and not worry about finding hotels, restaurants, offices, airports, etc. I have never had a problem with reception. Occasionally its fooled by new construction or an overpass - you still should follow signs and use common sense. I've found it works much better than my friend's built in system, plus its portable and has a very simple user interface. My last trip was a golf trip to Myrtle Beach with 3 friends and they were all programming it by trip's end. We knew how much time it took to get to the courses, airport, etc before we left which made time management easy. Fantastic unit at a great price!

Should have purchased one sooner
Review From: W. Wong, Jan 29, 2007
Absolutely excellent unit. I purchased one last December and have used it to go shopping, places that I am not familiar with and even to places where I travel regularly just to see how much it would differ from my usual route. Sometimes it ends up faster and sometimes they are the same. I travel up along the California coast and into Oregon last summer and wished I had purchased one then.

Excellent GPS unit at a great price
Review From: Paul, Jan 15, 2007
I purchased a 1 GB SD Memory card and was able to load all the included North America map set, making the C320 functionally equivelent to the C330. I really like the ETA displayed and mileage to upcoming turns. The not-included "Text to Voice" is a feature I feel is overrated, since in the C320 the street name to turn on is displayed in the top menu bar to accompany the audible command "In point 2 miles, Turn Right!". The "Touch Screen" feature is superb. No regrets whatsoever.

Never get lost with 320
Review From: Sal, Jan 5, 2007
I recently took a position with my company that places me in unfamiliar areas. I received the C320 for Christmas and love it. It is really easy to load. Easy to program addresses and has been right on the money in getting me to appointments I would have not found so easily. The unit was very affordable and after doing some research I am glad I got the 320 as opposed to the 330. I love it so much and it was so easy, my dad bought a unit for himself and my mom for when they travel. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!!

Review From: GABRIEL, Dec 27, 2006
I love the c320 is by far the best value for the money. I work at a dealership and the c320 far surpases the accuracy of those vehicle we sell. In fact we liked it so much that we offer it as a free gift for those vehicles that dont come with it.

This product has all the features and flexibility you could want in a compact pacakge.
Review From: Frank C, Dec 4, 2006
I purchased this product approximately 6 months ago and love it. It acquires the satellites quickly, is accurate in it's routing, has standard SD card slot for all the maps you can load, is compact enough to pack slip into your carryon for trips and the touch screen is a extremely good interface. Only complaint is the screen is a little hard to read in bright sunlight but all you have to do is listen to the voice prompts. Purchase it and you won't be able to do without it.

Excellant GPS
Review From: Kevin P, Sep 13, 2006
I love this unit. It is so easy to use. I am able to punch in an address within seconds and it will identify 95% of the addresses. Would recommend this to anyone. Especially for the price. The only thing I dislike about this unit is I am unable to make up my own route on my home pc then download to the unit like my old Garmin 12. You have to go the way it wants you to go. BUt, it does get you there.

Good Navigator
Review From: frankfrancisco@ispwest.com, Jul 16, 2005  | See All Reviews
This navigator is very easy to learn and operate. Instead of the basemap preloaded (c320), the choice is up to the user to pick the regions to download on the 128 MB SD card. I was able to download 4 states with major cities. For my useage, this is plenty, knowing that I can always go up to 2 GB which would contain much of North America. Installing drivers and downloading is straightforward. Clearity and voice are good. Dash mount is inadequate without modifications. Points of interest database is out of date, but mapping is good.
