I purchased the Garmin 320, after trying out my wife's Garmin 340 that I got her for christmas. There is very little difference between the two units and a price difference of $150+. The only thing between the 320 & 340 is it says " Turn on Main St." and my 320 says turn in .2 miles and then "turn right." I also had to load and update the software, but it took 20 minutes and easy as can be. My 320 does the very same as my wife's 340 on everything else. If I would have known then that the C320 is basically a 340, except spoken street names and I had to do an easy download of 3 states I drive in, I would have picked her up the 320. She loves her C340, but said she'd have been just as happy with the C320, since it's the same unit. Again, downloading up to 4 states is a piece of cake.
If I want to ad more, I get a memory card on sale ( like the ones they use in cameras) and I can add all 50. I don't drive all 50, so I probably won't. 3-4 states is fine and that's what the memory card that it comes with holds. I think the C320 is the best deal on the market. It's even more accurate than my friends high end car's GPS. I give it a 10+. I would have paid twice as much for all the great features. I can find any business, restaurant, park or shopping, anything at the touch of a button. It's easy to read day or night with no glare problems at all. Again, I have both units and if you can live without the spoken street names and want to save almost enough to buy two, then get yourself the C320!
