"My girlfriend bought me a guitar for Christmas from this thief. when i opened the guitar, I noticed a little fret buzz. took it to a shop to have a neck adjustment done, and the guy, 30+ years as a fender licensed repairman, said the guitar was unrepairable due to the neck being shrunk, probably from sitting somewhere in very high temps for a long time. tried to get this guy, who is a .com steal from people out of his house loser, to replace the guitar. he told me i had to deal directly with the manufacturer. he took my girlfriends good money, and sold her a bad guitar that is not good for anything except kindling. NO customer service. No willingness to make things right. I would NEVER do business with this thief again, and I strongly advise you to go to a respectable, honest established business if you want to buy something, and spread the word about this crook."

"I placed my order on 19 July, received half (which was water damaged) in a week, then no information until I called in early August. When I reached the "help" desk I found that my "in stock" items were back ordered. Understandable, but the lack of communication and poor shipping protection was not acceptable."

"I ordered an "in-stock" pair of axis pedals with two day shipping on May 2nd 2008, to only be told 4 hours later that, "someone bought them at the exact same time as you." which is a complete lie, i ordered them at 5:30 a.m., anyways, i called in a 29 days 26 days later to see when they were coming and i was told they were receiving them from axis on the 29th and would ship them right away. It is June 4th, i called them and was told it would be about another month. They have told me two times that they would find out what is going on then call me back.... they never have. to summarize their service; customer service- horrible,rude and unprofessional; availability of items- poor, it all says in stock when its actually not even on back order; proficiency-horrible. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY."

"i am a foreign person who was in usa for a short period of time. i wanted to buy 2 axis a-l pedals, they were very flexible and we got to a method of paying, besides the product arrived earlier than the stimation date. as an international person, i reccommend GEARTREE for every one, very eficient and polite people work in there."

"GearTree has a truly "hasssle-free" return policy. I returned a Fender bass because of poor workmanship and they mailed me a Fed-Ex return label and all I had to do was slap it on and give the package to a Fed-Ex guy. I usually detest online music dealers and view putting up with their poor customer service as a necessary evil to get the discounts, but dealing with geartree was so easy it was a real pleasure! The only drawback with geartree is the selection is relatively limited; but if they stock the item you're looking for, go with Geartree."

"I ordered a guitar amp on-line from GearTree.com for my son for Christmas. The shipping was fast, I was emailed a tracking number and the amp arrived "on time" in perfect condition at my house and the shipping was FREE. I would definitely do business with GearTree.com again in the future. Thanks guys...You Rock!!"

"On a quest to secure a new amplifier I was happy to see that Gear Tree had the Orange Crush 30r. I was a little disappointed to learn that it was out of stock but, alas, it was out of stock everywhere else so I was just happy to have one on order. I was assured it would be in within a month. After another month, still no answer. I called them and thought there was an understanding that if it was not in within a month to cancel the order. Here I am today, unfortunately writing an unsatisfied review after learning that it has been shipped and now I have been charged an overdraft charge by my bank. Their management is definitely the worst of any sort of online musical distributor I have ever dealt with. I strongly suggest anyone to reconsider purchasing from them if the product is available from any one else."

" GearTree has excellent customer service and great deals. I bought my B.C. Rich Bass from them and all accessories necessary to get myself going. I always get timely even early delivery on items and if there is ever a problem, they are quick to fix it."

"I ordered a digital recorder from the web site and was notified the next day that the item was out of stock. I cancelled my order and received a prompt refund, but this seems to be a common problem - listing out-of-stock items as available."

"Unfortunately, the item I ordered was no longer in stock. Customer service was willing to look for a replacement but, since it was a Christmas present, I decided to cancel the order. -- However, I would like to say that the Customer Service people I spoke with were very helpful and polite. -- I would do business with GearTree.com again because of that."
