In response to the reviews where the drop side is hard to move: When putting the crib together and you are to the point of attaching the drop side rail place the stationary side on the floor. The bottom stretcher bar should be facing the ceiling. If the headboard/footboard is not flexing enough to get the drop side rail in slighly loosen the bottom stretcher bar on one side. It is better have 2 people so that each person can slide up each side of the drop rail simultaneously. Once the top track is engaged retighten the bottom stretcher bar and slide the rail the rest of the way up. Each person should also pull back on the lever on the bottom locking mechanism on each side at the same time to lock it into place. Then when lowering the drop rail stand in the middle of the drop rail and lift it up so the rail hits the top track first. Then push in on the bottom middle of the rail with your leg and drop it down.
