this thing rocks
Review From: Hobo dave, Jan 30, 2007
this is the best financial calculator I've used in my 35 years in the accounting industry. I'm an instructor at Illinois-Chicago and I would never recommend anything else

Original 10b was great; 10bii is JUNK
Review From: joeaiello@sbcglobal.net, Jan 24, 2008  | See All Reviews
I've been a financial planner and instructor for 20+ years. I've burned out more 10b's than most people have ever seen, and I required hundreds of students and subordinates over the years to buy them. They were great calculators that everybody loved. The 10bii, however, has been cheapened to the point of being unusable. I've tried three of them. The problem is that the keys register about half of the time so you may have to hit them 2 -3 times just to enter the number or function you want. It's time to find another brand.

could not read screen after 1 year
Review From: paul simon, Feb 16, 2007
I Have had 2 hp10b2 calculators, and after about 1 year of using both of them, 1 or more of the numeral digits on the screen stopped working, and you can't make out the calculations. Hp did send me the 2nd calculator for free, even though it was after the 90 day warranty period, but they didn't do anything when the 2nd calculator stopped working.

I won't buy another!
Review From: Cindy Anderson, Jan 26, 2007
I'm using this model of calculator for a senior level college class. It has a poorly written user manual. In trying to reset a default to calculate quarterly payments instead of monthly payments, I was stymied by the poorly written manual. I tried to call HP customer service for FIVE (!) hours. When I got through and spoke to a person, they put me on hold, and a recording said CS is closed. Won't EVER buy an HP product again. What a waste of time!

Very User Freindly
Review From: Franco Verdino, Sep 13, 2002
Can do all types of complicated and simple financial calculations in a user freindly was as compared to the traditional, more expensive 12C.
