Best desktop for the price.
"...It has slots for all the various kinds of memory sticks/cards out there. Lightscribe burner is also included.
Although I'm not a gamer, I'm glad that I have a good graphics card with its own designated memory on standby.
640 GB of hard drive space is more than enough for me at this time since I have a 500 GB external hard drive to help store most of my stuff.... See more

A wonderful machine.
"...The screen is beautiful, graphics are sharp, vibrant and very clean, which is important for me because I am a Graphic Design student. The processor is incredible.
6 GB of RAM is plenty of power to handle demanding programs, but you can expand the RAM up to 16 GB if you need to.
Also, this computer doesn't come with speakers, and you'll need to create your own back-up discs (They give you the option of using 3 regular DVDs or 2 Dual layer-DVDs) which surprisingly took just under an hour to do.... See more

Excellent multimedia machine
"...You can really see how well the 4 cores and 64 bit architecture help when you are rapidly switching applications while editing video. I was more than impressed.
Aside from work, I'm an avid gamer, and with the addition of a 450 W ATX PUS and a GeForce 8800 GTS, I can play the latest computer games on the highest detail settings with astounding frame rates.

Best Student Computer for the Price Period !
"..."I searched and compared for weeks online and in person on a computer to give my son for his birthday, I was frustrated because I had certain things I wanted and needed but also since it is my 3rd computer in the house didnt want to spend alot of money. I found this HP and it meets everyone of my specifications.

PC works great! So far...
"...Not that I need it for a desktop, but it does have a wireless card for the internet as well as the ethernet hookup. The WiFi did come in handy when I transfered files from my old computer to this one.
Also, it has DVD burner with a labeler.

Great all-around PC!
"...The only complaint I have, which is very slight, is the fact that the case is micro ATX (smaller case than normal desktop), which makes it difficult to upgrade the power supply (to support upgraded video card). I upgraded the video card, since the integrated video on this PC is doesn't handle high-end gaming and needed to upgrade the power supply to more than the 300w this PC comes with.
Since a standard ATX power supply is too big for this case, I ended up installing a Visiontek 450w supply that slides into the 5.25" extension bay.
