User Review: I watch a lot of tv and movies on this thing and it's really great for that, too. Cons: There is a significant amount of light bleed around the edges, which can be distracting.

SOOO CLEAN - IGNORE BAD REVIEWS

Other Thoughts: I read mixed reviews about this monitor but finally decided to just buy it and if I did not like it, I can always return it (Thanks to Newegg's awesomeness) But I loved it HUGE difference between this and my old 23" LG (Which was great BTW).

I personally love it.- Extremely lightweight- Quick startup/shutdown times- No ghosting or screen tearing (unlike old CCFL models) Cons: Only including these to be thorough:- No adjustable height (not a problem for me, I'm relatively short)- No VESA mounts (also not a problem for me, as I have no intention of mounting, but everyone should be aware before purchasing.- Viewing angles are limited, as with any TN panel, resulting in a reddish tinge if viewed off-center- Do not buy this screen if you work in an environment with a strong light behind you, as you WILL have glare- AC adapter cord to power supply is a tad short.... Pros: beautiful screen when it worked.but do not buy from this company because they only want to give you a 1 year warranty and hope you spend more money to buy their extended warranty.the same warranty you will get form most other monitor companies.3 year..not 1 year.

Cons: i bought the monitor on 4/11/2011.the dvi port and the hdmi port quit working.i have tried it with different cables and another monitor hooked up to my gtx 690.the other monitor works with the digital but the 27" hp does not.it will only work as an anolog signal.now remember that the warranty is only 1 year!most monitor companies give you a 3 year warranty.not hp.they really really want to sell you their extended warranty.it seems that the digital mainboard is out.i paid almost 400 bucks for this and no warranty support for a bad product.it is barely out of a 1 year warranty.all they wanted to do was sell me another monitor of the same for almost 75 bucks more than my local computer store sells this same monitor for.or even newegg here sells it for less than them.you would think that a company of this caliber might work out something with you and support their product for more than 1 year.4 months over a 1 year warranty is not enough when it is defective.would not recommend ever buying Other Thoughts: buy from a company with a good warranty not hp.why should we only get a 1 year warranty on a high end product that is used quite a bit?their ploy is to only sell you an extended warranty when other companies already give you a 3 year warranty on their product....
