Bought and installed myself , this unit last summer for my house were winter has humidity levels lower than the sahara desert. So far the unit is working great with some need to dial in the correct fine settings ie humidity lvel and the anti window freeze function . The install was not too hard but the control unit was bad. This was reqpalaced thru the vendor no problem and now its going with a full head of steam. So far this winter I have not had the cracked bleeding lips, or plaster craking due to very dry conditions as yet. Gotta see if it makes it thru february -- the dry season
