Pros: * For such a small device it gets excellent WiFi reception.* Although it's not readily available or documented anywhere that I've found, if you browse directly to http://[DeviceIP]/menu.asp page (You'll have to type it directly) you'll find a ton more configuration options than you get from the main page, including the ability to set a password on the device itself and to set the device to use either a static or DHCP IP of your choosing instead of having to be stuck with it on the default 192.168.1.252. Cons: Got two of these in the last week and both had firmware that was outdated.... See more

Pros: Does what the advertisement says.
"...Cons: No cons I know of and I have no way of testing the "fixed IP" complaint Find out when I buy another. Other Thoughts: Have this connected to an Obi110 (VoIP) at a remote location and it works fine.
Downside is if I lose wireless ability to communicate with the Iogear then I have to physically access it and plug an Ethernet cable in. Be nice if I could do a remote reboot/reset.... See more

Pros: Cheap, it works if you have a VERY strong signal.
"...Cons: The sensitivity and stability of this device did not cut it. I would plug this device in, run an iperf test and get 6mbit (that is if it didn't drop the connection).
I would run the same test on a competitors adapter in the exact spot and pull 25mbit, that competitors adapter has been in place for 10 days now with no issues.. Other Thoughts: I give everything I buy the benefit of the doubt.... See more
