For the money is the best you can get
"...
Feature:the only thing i dont like is the key action but again (the famton xa action is the same as this one) i would love a nice synth action like the motif es or the xp80Quality:the touch view, the sound quality and the 14lbs makes this board the best of allValue:the best you can buy at this price rangeDesirability:I woul buy the 73 keys if this one where stolenSound:I had a Yamaha Motif es 6 and I had to sell it becuase of a intense back pain then i tried a Roland xa(and sounds sucks) the closest thing to my motif is this board the rhodes sounds are close to the yamaha and the grand piano is great too i do love Roland acoustic piano on the Fantom xa but the rest was crap.
Ease of Use:piece of cake and the sequencer is a dreamSupport:I guess a company like korg wont let me down i never owned a korg till now... See more

"...The sound quality & quality samples are incredible for studio use in my opinion. WAY better than even needed for live stuff.
The factory Pianos could still use a little work on Korg's part (Compared to a real piano in the same room, but running the M50 thru an Acoustic practice bass amp, but probably not a fair comparison).
If you looking for something easy to use & setup, some of the best sounds available (in my opinion), touchscreen interface, lightweight, well made and just a sharp looking instrument all for well under $1200, this is THE BEST!!!... See more

"...I still havent figured out the m50 computer program, because I use a different mixer program. But it looks complicated if you are new to this.
I dont think you can go wrong with Korg, I have always loved the quality of their products.

"...It has an array of sounds. Its also has a sequencer that is pretty easy to use, not like other keyboards.
I have a yamaha MOTIF ES6, a roland G70, roland Fantom X6,and Korg Triton and this keybord was the most cost effective and the user friendliest synth workstation I've worked with.

Sounds Like a WorkStation...Built like a toy
"...Buttons should be rubberized! I've had it sent back twice because the locator button keeps popping off track and going inside the keyboard.
I also own the Korg D3200 and the Korg MicroSampler, and since I like my M50 so much, I'll probably just keep it and buy the new Kronos Too!

Keybed Design Issue

From an engineering perspective, the hinge point for each key is located exactly where the key surface ends at the rear of the keybed, and it is not hinged behind that point as is the typical design to facilitate full usage of the entire key surface for playing.... See more
