Just got one for my new Dell Inspiron 6000D notebook and it works great! It will cost you couple hundred dollars more if you upgrade it at Dell.
Try to configure you Inspiron 6000D with 533MHz FSB to take advantage of this memory.
Great memory at an excellent price!! And for sure I will soon get another one to max up 2G memory.
