The Empire strikes back in this sequel to the endearing Star Wars game made all of LEGOs. LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance's battle to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild a galaxy in pieces. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her blockade runner to a showdown on the reconstructed Death Star, the game includes even more of the family-friendly LEGO action. The sequel finally allows you to build with your LEGO blocks, as a new Free Play mode allows gamers to customize the vehicles for new ship designs, as well as Free Play all of the playable characters (over 100 in total) by mixing and matching body parts, forming the likes of "Stormbacca", "Chew Vader" and "Leia Wan Kenobi." Other additions include cool new character-specific attacks and maneuvers, Power Brick items, playable mini-kit vehicles, an improved two-player camera, a greater challenge for advanced players, and more.
Game Special Features
Expands upon all of the fun and creativity that made the original Lego Star Wars such a hit, this time set during the original three Star Wars films; for the first ever, build and ride vehicles and mount creatures through on-foot levels; now, all non-droid characters not just those with the force have the power to build; unlock more than 50 playable characters, from cultural icons like Luke, Leia and Darth Vader to fan favorites such as Greedo, Jawas and Gamorrean guards; unlock up to 54 more payable characters with a game save from the original Lego Star War; create unique playable characters like Yoda Kenobi, Lando Fortuna and millions more by mixing and matching the Lego body parts of all playable characters.
Santa can be unlocked with the following parts:
Step 1: At the Mos Eisley Cantina, enter the following two codes: CL4U5H (for Santa hat and red clothes) and TYH319 (for white beard Extra).
Step 2: Go to the Character Customizer and create the proper costume. Use a human head, the appropriate red clothing and don't forget the red cap! Santa can wield the weapon of your choice -- we recommend the green or red lightsaber to seasonally complement his shiny red duds. (Remember, the color of his lightsaber decides whether his Force powers are naughty or nice.)
Step 3: In the Extras menu, activate Disguise 3.
Step 4: Enter the character-based level of your choice in Free Play.
Step 5: Spread holiday cheer to a galaxy in pieces.
Step 6: Should IGN find your lack of faith in LucasArts disturbing, you will be Force Choked. Your next younger sibling will get your gifts and get promoted to Admiral before Arvel Crynyd smashes into his or her bridge when the shields are down in the next LEGO Star Wars.
