My traveling companion
"...I bought this item hoping it was everything it was advertised to be, and it was. It is roomy, durable, and a nice looking bag.
I was surprised at how much equipment I could fit into the backpack without compromising the protection of the equipment.
The side access allows the photographer to get to your camera and the accessories without having to put the backpack down on the ground risking dirt getting in place you don't want it.... See more

I really do like this bag and I like the way that I can just bring it around front for access to my camera.
The only thing that I can see that would be an improvement is for the main zipper compartment to have a zipper all the way around so that one could get to the "other" stuff in the bag without having the camera side open.... See more

Definitely one of the top camera bags, I would recommend this to anyone, though I would discourage consideration of the 100 AW, the 200 AW has just enough room, and if you need any more, the 300 AW is perfect.
One of my favourite features of this pack is the stability strap, I do a good amount of nature shooting and I find myself down on my knees and stomach a lot, with my old pack it would sling around me shoulder and down in front of me causing problems with mobility, with the Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW I just snap in the stability strap and I can crawl around as much as I need without my gear leaving my back....
