I have relied heavily on user reviews on the internet for many products I have been interest in and want to help others in search of a good product. I owned an Orek, which was good for an upright. Problem with the Orek was no adjust for carpet height, which was problem sometimes for it made it too difficult to push along and couldn't get under the bed to clean the bedroom carpets. Next I regretfully bought a Dyson canister vacuum. A $500.00 waste of money. The power head relies on the suction to spin the brush. A total joke and the bagless concept sounds great, but in reality is more of a pain to empty then it is worth. Very messy. It must be done outside. And finally 2 years later I decided on a Miele. What a spectacular machine. The German engineering is great. I bought the Aquarious model, but wouldn't hesitate on any model that matches your budget. Unbelievably quiet, great suction and an absolute pleasure to use. Please, whoever is out there in search of a great value and quality product, forget Kenmore, Orek and the faulty name Electrolux, I believe the true one is Aris and buy yourself a Miele. You will have no regrets.
