My wife and I purchased this camera several months ago. This camera has many features that we are just starting to learn about. However, the informational booklet that comes with it is very helpful in explaining how the different features work. But, you will still want to purchase other books on professional photography to help you make the most of the camera. Although the many features might be confusing to some, it is a very flexible camera that will help you preserve events around you. The purchase of other lenses, flash, and various filters (a UV filter is highly recomended for outdoor photography) will make this camera even more flexible. Definitely, worth the money for those who love, and are serious, about their photography.
