Excellent but has room for improvements
Review From: e. cubarrubia, Nov 8, 2006
Superior power management = many shots per full battery charge. Very good built-in flash (GN13-ISO 100). As usual, excellent color balance, edge to edge sharpnes, superior resolution. I am able to use ALL my NIKKOR lenses from my 30 year old 35mm Nikon F. Now, for the improvements: rigid metal doors with rubber seals in place of the plainrubber cover for the connectors. Change to toggle the buttons for the AE/AL instead of holding down. Hinged the LCD transparent cover instead of removable. Provide curtain for the viewer instead of the cheap plactic cover. Locate the diopter wheel on the left side and make the wheel larger. Label the DOF preview button and the Function button. Would prefer an 15~150mm f/2.8~3.5 - 22 bundled lens. Would also wish to have a distance and f/ values on the lens barrel. I know NIKKOR does not yet have this lens. An excellent system overall - but certainly not for an average user.
