"OUT OF BUSINESS?? BUYER BEWARE. Worst on line buying experience ever! Ordered a TV Oct 20, quick to charge my credit card but could never get shipping info/confirmation, just lots of run-around and vague reponses (oh and told I was being "impatient")! Became very frustrated and somewhat suspicious so I called to cancel order, more run-around, said it couldn't be done as TV was aready shipped (but still no shipping info). Multiple emails without a reply, multiple phone calls with no assistance. Finally logged in to see my order status and it said CANCELLED (Nov 4). Called to confirm and ensure refund was being processed. Different customer reps told different stories. Finally said PCVIDEO was going out of business. Refund was eventually processed and I received an email saying the business was closing (Nov 10)but I am wondering WHY IS THE WEBSITE STILL UP AND RUNNING IF BUSINESS HAS CLOSED?? Beware, this merchant is unprofessional and possible fraudulent. Customer service is rude. Already has a bad rating with NY BBB. "

"the worst online experience ever. I ordered a 40"LCD TV on 8/11, after paying extra for 7 to 9 day delivery,received tv on 9/02 called sales,customer service, and the ,manager, no one could provide shipping info. contacted Visa and they called merchant, TV was shipped that afternoon-buyer beware! "

"SCAM, SCAM, SCAM - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!! I placed an order for a NEW 52" LCD TV and when I received my confirmation email, it stated I ordered a RESERVICED model. I have tried several times to call and cancel this order and I get jerked around. They don't respond back to emails either."

"absolutely, without a doubt the worst online shopping experience for me to date. ordered product april 25th. was told tv had been shipped. every bit of tracking information i was given was not accurate. after my attorney finally faxed them a letter on june 10th i was contacted by shipping company on june 13th. tv should be here june 17th. we'll see... every email contact towards company was ignored. phone calls were transferred around and employees were obnoxious and rude. pricing was the only reason i shopped here. i would go to best buy and pay inflated prices before considering this totally unprofessional whack-job of a company again. they portray themselves as a huge wholesale company when in essence they are a 20 employee team of rude "yankees" that have to order the product themselves before shipping it to the consumer. they have no stock of inventory. shoppers beware!! this was a nightmare and almost 60 days later including a letter from my legal counsel i still have no product. fuhget-aboud-it! oh, and notice how all the good reviews sound pretty much the same. you think their employees are writing those, duh? "

"this is an absolute scam. so not deal with this people. I odered sAMSUNG 4669f. 3 days later I was told that it will take 8 to 9 WEEKS and it was not ship out yet. I called on the 4th days they told that the item was shipped, but it can be still upgrated for faster delivery. I upgraded the shippig for 8 to 9 days and after 2 days I was told that the item came back broken from the truck and they are out stock. they never shipped the item, because they did not have it. After over a week I still don't have the TV."

"I purchased a 58" plasma tv from this vendor due to their low price. I opted for the additional shipping charge to get a shipment tracking number only to find out they don't give them to shipments that they consider local (New Jersey). After three days of processing (they say it only takes two) my tv sat in a warehouse for a over a week before it was finally delivered. One day I called and they said it was delivered then the next it was still there. I finally got it one day shy of two weeks even with the expedite shipping. The driver was unable to locate my residence so tv was delivered in the parking lot of the local supermarket. He then had the nerve to ask me for a tip! If this sounds like service to you then good luck with your order. I suggest you look elsewhere. I wish I would have. "

"HORRIBLE. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND TOLD ME THE TV HAD BEEN SHIPPED. THEY GAVE ME A FALSE TRACKING NUMBER TO MAKE ME THINK THEY HAD SHIPPED. THEY ARE RUDE AND THEY LIE. SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS."

"These people do not stock anything they just have arrangements with buyers. Do not trust their "in Stock" tag for equipment, even if you call to confirm. I called specifically to make sure they had an item and ordered it. Two days later I was given the line: "Oh the last one went out JUST before we could fill your order." This is the it's not out fault escape clause and is generally untrue. Stick with retail stores."

"I Ordered a Panasonic plasma TV. They called and said that they were not an authorized panasonic dealer and that the tv I ordered was not covered by any warranty and that they could sell me one from one of their authorized sellers for a higher price. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!"

"I ordered an LCD TV and later that day I get an email saying I need to call and verify my order, so I call and they ask me for my fax number...I give it to them, he says okay since this isn't a authorized sharp dealer they can't promise that it will work when it I recieve it..so he's going to fax me a letter I have to sign and return saying that if it doens't work when I get it, they aren't going to replace or repair it. So I canceled my order."

"SAME HERE. ORDERED 52" LCD ON THE 17TH OF JANUARY. TOLD IT WAS IN STOCK. WE PAID EXTRA TO HAVE IT FOR SUPER BOWL. AS OF TODAY (2/6/07), NO TV, NO RESPONSE TO E-MAILS, CURRENTLY ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES. BOTTOM LINE, GO WITH THE CHEAPEST PRICE YOU CAN FIND AND PLAN ON AT LEAST TWO WEEKS, THESE GUYS WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR NOT THE TRUTH. (WILL UPDATE AS NEEDED)"

"My experience started with a bait and switch routine which I bought into. My real problem was ordering it on Jan 8th with promise of arrival on Jan 18th. I just checked with the shipping company and they picked up the unit Jan 17th. Therefore, they must have lied about having stock in order to get the order since I would have checked around for stock and ordered elsewhere."

"ordered a samsung hps5073 in november wich included a online special of a free hdmi cable,this never came.I called pcvideo three times to get my hdmi cable,was promised two hdmi cables if i wrote nextag a good review.I said once I received these cables I would.as of this date ,no hdmi cables."

"I called the company first before ordering my plasma tv through the website to ensure they had it in stock. They said they had on in stock. So then I proceeded to purchase a 50" Pioneer PDP5070HD through their website. I got a call from a rep about 4 hours later confirming my address and attempting to sell an extended warranty. I declined the warranty. What bothered me about the call is the extremes the rep went to try and sell me a warranty. He stated that these plasma have ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTIES with them. Then he told me he was going from me a signed waiver and notary before selling me the tv. I gladly gave them my fax number but then he cut me off and started speaking rudely and said why don't I want to get the warranty?? After I got off the phone I waited for the fax but it never came. The next day their website changed there "in stock" to "out of stock" and raise the price of the tv from $2344 to $2944. I waiting two days before calling back for a status. All the people I spoke to were rude. I was transferred to 3 different people. Then someone asked if I received the waiver? I told him they never bothered to fax it. He said they would refax.. at that moment I told him to just cancel my order. After I received the horrible service and the BS they feed me and the mass negative comments all over the web for this online retailer I opted to not risking getting into additional problems and delays I saw forthcoming from pcvideoonline."

"Run, Run away! These guys are rude! Their website said "in stock" and "ships in 24-48 hrs." So I ordered it online and then called a week later to check on it and the guy rudely tells me they aren't sure when they will even have it in stock and then it will be another 10-14 days to ship after they recieve it. When I tell him that's not what there website said when I ordered it he rudely says "well to bad". These guys are THE WORST! RUN,RUN,RUN"

"Beware! To summarize my complaints: 1. Bait and switch on original order - "we don't have that model in stock but we can give you this better one for more $" 2. High pressure sales on service contract AND bait and switch on ¿free accessories¿ and discounted service contract offered to get me to buy the service contract which I was later billed for. 3. Received item in less than acceptable condition - scratched, marred and heavily used. 4. Invoiced for more than agreed upon amount. Charging full price for the service contract they discounted by $50 and charging for the "free accessories" they offered to get me to buy it, plus a little extra that I can't explain. 5. Attempt to swindle me on return ¿ offering a cheaper laptop to me for the same price. Yeah, I want to pay $1900 for a laptop you have advertised on your site for $1700. Would you mind kicking me in the pants too? 6. Untimely refund of my money and non-responsive action to my requests. 3 weeks AFTER they have recieved the item back I STILL haven't gotten a refund to my card after several calls to PCvideo. I have had to dispute the charge. I also sent an email to Nextag.com at BSupport@nextag.com and requested this vendor be removed. They have acknowledged my email and said that they would look into their practices. Have you also had a bad experience? Do the same. "

"Advertised Pioneer 1410 at a low price and when I ordered they called and tried to sell me another brand. One rep said the Pioneer was discontinued and the other said it had no warranty. They couldn't even get the story straight. I think they never had the thing. Bait and switch all the way. Look out!"
