Does the trick...
"...Good, reliable, long-lasting battery. A must have for using the camera to its fullest extent.
Not had any of these for terribly long, so I can't speak to the lifecycle of the product, but I expect to get a good amount of time if it lives up to panasonic quality.

Wow, what a battery
"...On a Full charge, it powers the Panasonic HMC40 For about 7'':50+hrs with the LCD Screen on. and about 5-10 percent more just using the smaller viewfinder.
I use the rode video mic the has its own battery that is doens't use the camera's power.
I imagine that buying the XLR and adapter and mic to go with would reduce the time some but the rode videomic is something to consider in the mean time...."

A must if you use xlr mics.
