I bought this TV on June 6 2008 from Abe's of Maine. The Panasonic 50" TH50PZ85U was an excellent choice. I reviewed many TV's over the past few months and decided it would be a Samsung or Panasonic 50" TV. I went to Best Buy and Circuit City to see both TV's side by side to compare the picture. After seeing the picture, the Panasonic was the best choice. The Samsung was nice but the Panasonic picture had the best color and sharpness. My wife and I could see it right away. Abe's of Maine shipped it within 3 days, and I unpacked it and set it up myself. Turned it on and the picture was better than what I expected. We have 16 feet of glass in our living room and the anti-glare screen works great. If you buy this TV set and you won't be disappointed. By the way...Abe's of Maine had the best price and service. A few days later I went out and bought the Panasonic Theater 1250 watt system. The surround-sound is great!!
