Well, I tested the plasma only with 480p and DVD signals, and with the FHD from the MabBook Pro, using the HD cable. Comparison is done with my Sony Bravia HD 32". Panasonic Image is very good, colors too. It lacks temperature-color tool found in the Bravia (warmer image) but you can get a very nice color adjusting the available controls. Caution: for cable signals not HD, the output is quite dependent on the channel being tested. The quality of this plasma is vey good, and will be better with the incoming blue ray. Picture a little bit grainy compared with Bravia, but this could be due to larger resolution of the panasonic plasma (the bravia is oinly hd) and the grainy nature should dissapears when looking hd channels.
