Pros: Bass is extremely tight, clean and musical.
"...I am still looking for mine. It was not all that easy to use when I did know where it was.
Fortunately, a remote is not exactly essential for a subwoofer.
Other Thoughts: Using this as part of an all-Polk 5.1 system with VM30s in front, VM20 in the center, and VM10s in the rear...."

Pros: Compact size, decent finish, ample power for my application, good price, matches well with Polk CS series loudspeakers.

Cons: Clumsy volume control--why not just put a knob on it?..."

Newegg.com , Jul 31, 2011
Pros: Exceptionally tight bass, exceptionally accurate, impressive output level regardless of size.
"...Pros: Exceptionally tight bass, exceptionally accurate, impressive output level regardless of size. Always proportionally correct output for set volume level throughout its stated dynamic range.
Cons: Newegg no longer carries the DSW Micropro 2000.
Prefer Gloss black to the matte black Other Thoughts: Quite simply the best sub I have ever heard except for the DSW MicroPro 2000 I bought before it...."

1200 watts RMS, which is a heck of a lot...."

Newegg.com , May 29, 2011
Pros: Great Value Tight Sound Loud High-end finish Remote Easy setup Cons: Digital volume control Other Thoughts: I've had mine for about 1 year and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
"...At $350 I am not sure there is a better value out there. I am not buying it to replace the first, but to give my system a ridiculous level of LFE with a dual sub setup.
I found the setup to be easy and everything about the subwoofer of extremely high quality.
It is what you would expect from Polk...."

Newegg.com , Jun 9, 2009
Pros: I added this to my home theater 7.1 setup as the rear subwoofer.
"...
Pros: I added this to my home theater 7.1 setup as the rear subwoofer.
My front is a M&K 12" sub that gives me the power for the big explosions etc...."

Pros: I have owned the micro pro 1000 for a couple of weeks now, having given it about 20 hours of use during that time.
"...
Pros: I have owned the micro pro 1000 for a couple of weeks now, having given it about 20 hours of use during that time.
I am very, very impressed with the solid state quality of construction and the tight, accurate response from the unit...."

Newegg.com , Dec 8, 2009
Pros: I needed a sub to complete my modest 5.1 home theater system.
"...What attracted me to this sub was it's small physical size and the whopping 1200 watts. My goal was clean, tight bass that you can feel.
And for the most part I got that - although perhaps not as much as I was expecting.
While watching movies it certainly doesn't rattle any windows or take your breath away, but it does fill my space with a very balanced presence of bass...."

Newegg.com , Jul 9, 2009
Pros: It provides very punchy deep bass from a small enclosure.
"...It was able to handle the Telarc recording of the 1812 Overture cannons at extremely high volume without overdriving or audble distortion. It has very fast transient response.
There are very little location clues to where the sub placed, It is paired with my bookshelf speakers with a high crossover point.
The controls and remote provide many configuration options including a four position phase selector...."

Newegg.com , Oct 10, 2009
Pros: The size, the power and super clean sound.
"...I wanted to get away from ported subs because, unless they are the SVS, Epik or ED type (large, heavy) you'll might get port noise. This sub with its passive radiator give clean tight deep bass.
I've rock this sub with Basstronics "Bass, I love you" sound track and other bass test tracks, which are really designed for car audio shows to show how deep your subs can go and how much excursion the sub's cone can do.
This sub handled these bass tracks very well...."

Newegg.com , Jun 28, 2013
Pros: Accurate.
"...Tons of Power. Sounds excellent.
Although not "boomy" - so maybe not the best for home theater.
Cons: Died on me after 4 years...."

Easy to install and configure...."

Newegg.com , Jul 3, 2011
Pros: It looks nice.
"...Pros: It looks nice.
Cons: An 8-inch speaker may not be large enough for a subwoofer.
But I also think that the design of this speaker is extremely poor, and chosen just to be different from the competition...."

Pros: Its a Polk Subwoofer- so you know it will sound pretty good- but in this case this is a very low end Polk Subwoofer-For the price I should have probably just picked up a DSW sub- rather then the micro.

Pros: looks good Cons: Very sad it says 1200 watts no way at 40 % it sounds real bad makes like a real loud blown out sound you have no choice you must turn it down.
