Raritan's new power control units provide system administrators with the capability to securely monitor and recycle power to data center devices remotely. Use the power strip with Raritan's Paragon and IP-Reach for complete power control of all your servers or other data center devices from any location via a web browser or out-of-band. Programmable unit ID and receptacle names. Allows for individual or collective control of all receptacles. Access and control is executed via a Cat5 cable that is connected to EIA-232 port that is connected to Raritan's Paragon via an AUATC or directly to Raritan's IP-Reach with a serial adapter that is included. Each power strip has individually controlled AC receptacles enabling you to monitor current voltage, power temperature and turn on & off any devices, which are connected. With true RMS current measurement and reporting, the remote power control units will report how much current in amps the attached equipment is drawing.
