"My experience with Royaldiscount was unique. I ordered the full retail version of windows vista home premium via UPS. When I opened the UPS box, I noticed that the software box was not sealed. In fact, it had no dvd inside at all. After composing myself, I realized that the activation code sticker had also been removed from the box. I could still see the glue and some paper stuck where it had been. I recalled that the UPS box was in perfect condition and appeared not to have been tampered with. I called the customer service for royaldiscout who agreed that the theft likely happened at their facility, before UPS had picked it up. He said he would refund my payment as soon as I sent back the box. He did not offer to pay for shipping. I had already cancelled my credit card payment minutes before. I agreed and sent back the box costing me about $5. My card was credited by RD and I bought software from another vendor. I had mixed feelings about this incident. On one hand, RD did refund my payment(minus shipping) showing that they believed me. On the other hand, I had never experienced a theft like this at any other online vendor."
