Needed a 5 Ghz wireless connection and got it.

The built in wireless in my XBR55hx929 is 2.4Ghz.

"...The one with the adaptor has hiccups frequently in the streaming of things like Netflix. Also, considering this adaptor is about $70-$80 it'd really make a lot more sense to just buy one of the blu-ray players that have the wi-fi built in.
