Amazing ability to get weak signals
Review From: Gary, Nov 21, 2007
This box can decode the faintest of signals and is a huge improvement over previous generation off-air HD tuners. It can bring in all 23 digital (SD and HD) signals in the SLC area. The on-screen guide is very nice, although there is a delay when switching channels due to the program info. getting loaded (not a fault of the box, and also note, the delay occurs only when the guide is displayed and not when changing channels). Also, only draws 15 watts of power when on and 1 watt when off. The only complaint is that channels that are 'deleted' from the channel list still show up on the guide. 'Deleted' channels are skipped when using the channel up/down buttons but still appear in the guide which is annoying because if you delete a channel from the list, you would expect the channel not to be listed in the guide. The marketing info. hints the firmware is upgradeable but so far no upgrades are available. Overall, a very good product.
