User Review: For the working drive, it's faster than my old 500gb drives (Sata I, small cache) and is actually very quiet for me which is nice. Cons: The busted unit lasted approximately 1 bios post and was makin[...]

Pros: -1.5 TB=plenty of space-Only cost 70$, cheaper than my 1TB usb drive-7200rpm=good data transfer speed-It's a sata drive Cons: -Not a con exactly since I knew what I was getting but it'll only score a 5.9 on the Windows Experience Index whereas everything else scored a 7.2 or above so if you want something outrageously fast you may want to get a 10 or 15k rpm drive Other Thoughts: -I have yet to have a reason to not love Seagate hard drives-Even if it was more expensive I would still say worth the money-It IS a bare drive so you will need to obtain a sata cable separately if you don't already have one ... Pros: -good drive not the best in speed for a 7200 RPM drive -ok noise level, can get loud when writing a lot of small files -24601 hour of use (1025 days) has 36 relocated sectors -Average temp is 34*C no fan 29*C with fan Cons: -limited warranty, only 2 years vs 5 on other drives -sluggish for 7200 RPM Sata II drive -one egg Other Thoughts: -I recently pulled this drive from my file server where it was runing 24/7 for almost 3 years, I noticed that it was showing a high relocated sectors, now seagate states that 100 sectors = bad drive, but I pull them asap bad sectors show up, it only had a 2 year warranty compared to the other seagate drives i had which have 5 years, drive will be low level formatted and used as a offline backup drive.

But it did last for almost 3 years of constant but light use.... See more

Pros: 7200 RPM.
"...Cons: None so far, lt's hope it stays that way. Other Thoughts: At first, I thought this was going to be my first RMA after many years of purchases from Newgg.
The culprit was the way the sata cable plugged into the motherboard. It was a clipless cable.... See more

Pros: 01: large volume of space 02: 7200 RPM 03: Price is good for me Cons: The quality of product is not good.
"...I purchased two of them. One of them was DOA.
The other one is working but it show me some poor character: write error when benchmark it; big noise than my other brand's 1.5 TB drive (such as HITACHI); Other Thoughts: it don't even compare to my old Seagate drive which is a 256 GB one. Well, I don't know.... See more
