Fantastic Picture but Weak Sound.
Review From: Frank D, Jan 1, 2008
I spent a long time looking over many brands of HDTV. I was not completely ready to buy now but my 30" CRT TV failed and the next day I weas out to buy the one that impressed me the most. That was the Sharp Aquos LC-37D62U. I was also limited by the cabinet space in my entertainment center. This TV does not have the speakers taking up space on each end that would limit the size I could put into the cabinet. It fits into my cabinet like a glove, but more importantly... It fits what I wanted for quality picture (up to 1080p). The picture quality alone is worth 5 stars. The remote is sensably laid out and easy to use. The inputs can be renamed from "HDMI4" to "Cable" for example. The built in tuner will search for all cable channels including all digital. Then you can go through the channels and select which ones you want to delete... also has parental control for anyone with young children.
Now for my only negative comment... The sound is weak. You can crank it full blast and it is only 10 Watts... not enough to fill an average size room. The solution... run your audio through your home entertainment audio equipment and problem solved. I've been using the set for over a month and would not post a review until before living with it for at least that long. THIS ONE'S A KEEPER! I expect to get many more years of exelent viewing with this TV.
