More than I expected
I expected the Sharp LC46D62U would give a good HD picture, but was surprised to find the NON-HD picture was great also. It may be that my 480i input is all digital from sattelite, but my NON-HD programs (and DVDs for that matter) are near HD quality. I'll still go HD, but don't feel like I have to do it immediately.
My only real complaint so far is the remote control. It's too spread out, and the blank spaces only remind me that it doesn't have PIP. Also there are only codes for 2 of my 5 pieces of my equipment, and neither worked! Also kind of funny that the only A/V Receiver code is "Sharp".
The manual is okay as it tells you HOW to change settings, but I would prefer more info about what each setting does (i.e. when would I not want refresh speed at 4ms).
Overall I'm happy with the Sharp, and am glad I spent the $500 or so extra over the 50" 720p Plasmas I was looking at at local buyer's club.
