Awesome TV
Review From: Don D., Mar 8, 2007
I purchased a 46D92 and set it up last night. The setup was painless. My neighbor and I finished in less than 15 minutes. Once I turned it on, I was blown away by the beauty and perfection of the display. It is everything I hoped for in a 1080p TV. The quality, fit, and finish are beyond reproach. The colors are accurate and vibrant. Even the standard definition broadcasts seemed to leap off the screen. The blacks are unbelievable. I saw a standard definition commercial with a black SUV and it looked BLACK, not gray or washed out. I saw absolutely no evidence of the banding problems many Sharp haters have complained about the Sharp Aquos line. The D92 eats Sony's lunch IMHO. I gave the XBR3 and the Samsung strong consideration, but the specs of the D92 won me over, particularly the 4 ms access time and 120 hz refresh rate. Images of fast moving sports like basketball clearly show the superiority of the Sharp over the other screen. The specs delivered as promised. You will not be disappointed with the D92. I almost bought a D62 but decided to wait. The wait was worth it. Check it out for yourself!

Review From: El Viejo - Austin, TX, Mar 26, 2007
I've had my D92U for about 3 weeks. Default settings are good but not great. After recalibrating the set using the Digital Video Essentials DVD the picture was perfect. Both satellite and off-air reception of local HDTV broadcasts via the built-in HD tuner are equally flawless. Analog reception is quite acceptable.
