Only fault I see is Xerox using a black background/lid instead of everyone's usual white.

Good flexible scanner, impossible setup
"...We scan everything from heavy stock time cards to credit card slips. 99 Flexible programming settings for many different uses, .bmp, .jpeg, .tiff, .pdf, .ocr.
We use this as a central point in the office attached to a local XP PC, and 'send to file' on different networked machines (XP & 7) by simply pressing the scanner selector (destination), then press 'scan' button.
