User Review: I had this HDD for less than a year and it just bombed out on me. I was using the drive to back-up both my desktop at home and my business laptop, so very limited use, i.e. twice a week.

It dropped the power consumption on my system vs 2 seagate 1tb drives by a large amount and reduced the heat output by 4c. A great drive, I have not had one fail on me yet, running nearly continuous for a year...."
