We use it for our student newspaper and yearbook. We have a Canon EOS, Nikon D40, and several other "higher end" models, but this one is growing to be the preferred camera of record. Great photo quality, superb zoom, and easy for first timers and veterans alike to use for all our needs [indoor and outdoor sports photos being primary]. Extremely cost effective. Our intention is to purchase more and use this as our primary camera [SD card is so much easier than compact flash - we lost two cameras to repairs because of problems with CFs]. Also AA batteries means we don't have to rely on a more expensive replacement battery [we use re-chargeables].
