John Wesleys Journal is one of the most important sources of information about his life and thought. Extract 1 contains Wesleys journal from the time of his embarking for Georgia (October 14, 1735) to the time of his return to London (February 1, 1737). Extract 2 covers Wesleys life from his return to London to his journey to Germany, to his return from Germany in August, 1738.
