I was in an apartment when I first bought my Haier XQJ50-31 portable washing machine, about 10/2003. And I am so glad still, to avoid crowded, quater-hogging landromats. The clothes washer, I'm so pleased to say has not given me any problems! Although it can accomodate 11lbs/load, I'm still always careful not to over load it. It's a 'top-loader' and the lid, is made of a kind of plastic material, did get a fine crack. But this may have resulted from some heavy object being placed on it. Just in case you may be wondering, it gets used a lot, for one thing, I am a nurse I have lots of uniforms to wash.Thanks for reading my little update.
