I agree with the above, the tension handles never worked well for me, either. But this chair is very comfortable. If you sit a little higher on the back of the seat, you can easily use gravity to lay completely back. The vibrating massage is soft enough to allow me to conduct work (write) while the heat makes the experience soothing. I've been hundreds of hours in this chair. I wouldn't part with it.
