I could not make this tuner work with digital and hi-def channels on an HP desktop with Windows Vista Home Premium but after updating it to Windows 7 it works perfectly on digital and hi def channels on my Charter cable system. It did work on analog channels in both Vista and Windows 7. I never tried it on a laptop. With Windows 7 I give it the highest possible rating on a desktop-5 stars!
